Kjerag and Lysebotn is becoming a base for extreme sport in Norway, and with the proper weather conditions you may even be lucky enough to observe base jumpers in free fall after jumping off Kjerag. The trek to Kjerag crosses a few steep mountain ridges and the difference in altitude is approximately 600 meters. You have to calculate 5 to 6 hours for the round trip and you should be reasonable fit to set off on this trek. Remember sturdy shoes, warm clothes and a solid packed lunch. To get to Kjerag you can drive to Øygardsstøl via Lysebotn or Sirdal.
