Fortidslandsbyen Landa. A visit to the reconstructed village of Landa takes you on a historic trip far back in time. Landa is the only village from prehistoric times to be discovered in Norway.

Fortidslandsbyen Landa

Here you can experience activities from the Bronze Age more than 3000 years ago through to the Viking age some 100 years ago. The excavation and the finds in Landa are unique in northern Europe. Several of the houses are reconstructed, and you can take part in activities as they were practiced in historic times. So visit the living village and take part in its daily work like baking, spinning and shooting with bow and arrow. You can also ride the horses and feed the animals.
Open every day except Monday from 24.06 until 25.08. Sundays
from 06.06 until 20.06. Prehistoric buffet with exciting historic tastes will be served on Sundays.
Landa is situated 3,5 kilometres from the ferry quay in Forsand.
