During the last 100 years Flørli has been transformed from a combined rural and industrial area to a cultural area. You should disembark in this newborn cultural place and see the dramatic transformations the area has experienced

Preikestolen / the Pulpit rock

The most famous mountain formation in the Lysefjord is The Pulpit Rock. The plateau or mountain shelf, protrudes about 30 meters from the precipitous mountain and thrones some 600 meters above the fjord.

The Lysefjord

The Lysefjord is a mighty natural phenomenon. The wild and dramatic fjord cuts its way 40 kilometres into the country between steep mountains. The Lysefjord is carved and formed by the glaciers during the Ice Age. Because of this the fjord is considered a genuine nature document and a geological pearl.

The Prehistoric Village of Landa

A visit to the reconstructed village of Landa takes you on a historic trip far back in time. Landa is the only village from prehistoric times to be discovered in Norway.
